About Kristy Pulsifer

MAKE SOFT SKILLS A PRIORITY! I am passionate about personal and economic development. This requires dedication to providing tools and resources to the underemployed or unemployed to help them obtain employment. I strive to make that connection happen! SUSCC is currently partnered with Alabama Governor's Office of Workforce Development and AIDT to provide classes at no cost to the recipient. As the facilitator for this class instruction, I help develop skills through the curriculum provided by AIDT. I assist students with educating the importance POSITIVE WORK ETHIC, other employable behaviors, communication skills, basic education provided by ACT KeyTrain, basic computer skills, FDIC financial literacy, and practical industrial topics that are highly needed in today's workforce. After successful completion of the course the students earn valuable qualities necessary for employment, higher self morale, a National Career Readiness Certificate (WorkKeys) Bronze-Platinum, and an Alabama Certified Worker's certificate. On a daily basis, I interact with a wealth of other organizations to collaborate current topics, needs, and propose solutions to the gaps in employment for the interest of not only the student but also for the employers that will receive competent employees after successful completion of the RTW program. "Be the change you wish to see in this world" "Motivation is key to success" "I am in control of my own success and failure" I encourage everyone to partner with Alabama Workforce Development for the continued success of community growth! Without the program there will be no curriculum, without the curriculum there will be fewer certified workers, without certified workers the industry/workforce will digress which ultimately will cause a nosedive in our local communities and economic development throughout the state. Find a local RTW facilitator/instructor to see how you can help!
Time is the greatest investment one could make into others.
