Alabama Ready To Work’s partnership with Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind

Ready To Work (RTW) is a soft skills training program that provides participants entry level skills needed for employment. The new RTW curriculum debuted in October 2017 and, along with content updates, sought to increase accessibility to individuals with disabilities. With these updates, AIDT was able to establish a partnership with E.H. Gentry, a vocational and educational rehabilitation program, which serves adults within the Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind to offer the RTW program to their students. Ready to Work Revitalized; set to debut October 2017

The Ready To Work Program (RTW) is gearing up for a new program year with re-vamped curriculum according to Shalyndrea Jones, Ready To Work Program Coordinator. The new curriculum will take on a more streamlined approach with updated content and modules that focus on various industries. The program makeover also includes a new logo and website.
